 Ben Hudson is a third generation
builder, who has a college
degree in building construction.
Prior to following his dream and
founding Hudson Home Builders,
he was an 18-year veteran of KBR,
one of the world’s largest
construction management firms.
At KBR, Ben was responsible for
over $1 billion worth of projects
from New York to Florida. He
was a licensed general
contractor at age 20 and has
passed the general contractors
exams in both North Carolina and
Florida.
Leveraging his many
years of building experience,
Ben Hudson brings his clients
the benefit of deep knowledge of
the latest construction
techniques as well as the
business and project management
skills to ensure a timely and
on-budget closing. From
permitting to closing, Ben
personally oversees each step of
the building process to ensure
the highest level of quality and
client satisfaction.
Ben is a native of
rural central Florida and a
proud graduate of the University
of Florida. He is also an
amateur inventor, who enjoys
piddling in his shop while
listening to country music,
rock, reggae or Jimmy Buffet.
When not chasing his two young
sons, Ben sometimes escapes to
the golf course, the beach or
his vegetable garden.

We make our home in Wilmington and
enjoy all aspects of living on North
Carolina’s beautiful coast. Our oldest son
attends school here. And, both our boys
enjoy frequent hugs from their grandparents,
who make their home in St. James
Plantation. It is our goal to raise our
children in Wilmington and be here to serve
our clients for many years to come.

leslie hudson
Ben works with his wife, Leslie. Leslie
was raised in the Northeast and attended Virginia
Tech, where she served as the student member on
the University's Board of Visitors. Later, she earned
an MBA from the Darden School of Business at
UVA. She worked for many years in both finance
and professional services marketing. Leslie
also has deep family roots in the construction
industry.
Leslie handles the Company’s financing,
accounting and insurance management. She also
assists with marketing and customer service as
well as our home and interior design services.
